HOW TO GRILL CORN

Corn is one of the easiest and the most tastiest vegetables to cook on a grill. Here are a couple recipes on how to grill corn cob.

Ingredients required

  • Fresh and tender Corn
  • Butter
  • Salt- two to three tablespoons
  • Lemon - half
  • Red chili powder/ mustard powder-one tablespoon
  • Foil

Method one


Make sure the corn you have taken is tender, fresh, and green in color; squeeze the corn lightly and remove the corn husk without leaving any strings. Take a pot, fill it with water and boil it. Once the water is boiled, add two table spoons of salt and soak the corn for five to ten minutes, close the lid, and do not allow the steam to escape or you can also directly grill your corn and add salt later. Now, clean and apply butter or oil upon the grill grate, preheat the grate for five minutes, and place your corn over the grill for ten minutes. Avoid burning the corn and turn the corn occasionally until it gets cooked thoroughly. Once your corn is cooked take off from the grill and brush lemon if needed or apply butter over it. Sprinkle some red chili or mustard powder for additional taste. your corn is ready to serve.

Method two


This is one of the easiest and simplest way to grill a corn cob. Make sure to take fresh and tender corn. Squeeze the corn lightly and remove the corn husk without leaving any strings. Now, clean and preheat the grate for five minutes. Cover your corn with foil or place your corn without removing its husk directly on the grill. Take out after 15 minutes. Brush it with lemon or butter and sprinkle some chili or mustard powder upon it. Add a pinch of salt. Your crunchy corn is all ready to serve. Foil keeps the corn body hot until it is served.
