Place the sliced onion and leave it for two minutes and occasionally keep turning the onion over the other side to avoid overheating. Cook until the onion turns golden brown now, take the cooked onions on a plate and add some required amount of salt, pepper, and chili powder(optional) to it. Hot and tasty grilled onions are now ready to serve.

Peel the outer layer of some three to four fresh onions and cut into thin slices of each onion, now make a small hole in the center and cut each onion into quarters, place it over the foil sheet. Now sprinkle some thyme, salt, and pepper in the center and cover it with butter. Add some wine if needed and close the foil. Grill it for 35-45 minutes over medium flame. After some time, make a hole in the foil to allow the steam to escape. The onions become tender to eat. Your sweet grilled onions are ready to serve.
