Introduction


Onions have various health benefits, and different research has been done to determine onions for their medicinal purposes. Onions are one of the commonly used ingredients in every household, and onion can almost be added to every dish.

Recipe
Here are three different methods on how to grill onions.

Method one
Take some fresh onions, remove the outer layer and chop it into thin layers. Preheat a pan, and add 2-3 tablespoon of cooking oil and heat it in low flame. Now add the chopped onions into the pan, add some salt and pepper to it, and add chili powder if you need it to be spicy. Mix it well and cook until the onions turn golden brown in color. Make sure not to burn the onions. Now your tasty dish is all ready to serve.

Method two
Clean the grill grate and brush some butter over it and preheat it for five minutes. Take some three or four fresh onions, peel the onions' outer layer, and cut it into thin slices. Brush some butter over the grill grate and preheat it for 5 minutes. Place the sliced onion and leave it for two minutes and occasionally keep turning the onion over the other side to avoid overheating. Cook until the onion turns golden brown now, take the cooked onions on a plate and add some required amount of salt, pepper, and chili powder(optional) to it. Hot and tasty grilled onions are now ready to serve.


Method three
Clean the grill grate and heat it for few minutes. Peel the outer layer of some three to four fresh onions and cut into thin slices of each onion, now make a small hole in the center and cut each onion into quarters, place it over the foil sheet. Now sprinkle some thyme, salt, and pepper in the center and cover it with butter. Add some wine if needed and close the foil. Grill it for 35-45 minutes over medium flame. After some time, make a hole in the foil to allow the steam to escape. The onions become tender to eat. Your sweet grilled onions are ready to serve.
